Here at PowerFab Automotive were all tech geeks, we enjoy the details, embrace them, find them interesting. Were always striving to bring superior parts to our customers to make things more efficient, reliable, or easier to service.

Our most recent acquistion is becoming a distributor for Jiffy-tite connections. There are absolutely ton's of types of connections for air/fuel/oil/coolant on the market, ranging from "acceptable" to flat out "awesome". Jiffy-tite fittings fall into the "awesome" end of the spectrum.

We've all had those budget days where barb fittings and worm gears were the norm, where rubber boots/hairspray/double worm gears were keeping our boost pipes together, where vacuum systems were a rat's nest of plastic tee's and adapters. It happens to just about everyone in the early days of our obsession with vehicle modification.

But then we evolve, hoses get braided, pipes get rolled, clamps go bolt style, couplers go multilayer woven. But one thing has always remained, you disconnect a line, and whatevers in it is coming out. Nature of the beast.

Not anymore however. What makes the jiffy-tite series of fasteners so cool is that they come in both unvalved and valved versions of each series, this allows you to choose where you will tolerate a leaky end and where you won't.

This means more than just less messes to clean up however, this means that suddenly part changes inbetween rounds are not only do-able without much hassle, hell, they're down right efficient! This means you could disconnect a fuel line at the back of the car near the pump, and not have the whole system bleed back down while you service it! This means that if your oil cooler takes a smack to the face on the track you could hot swap it in a matter of seconds and get back out in the race with less time and laps lost! This means you could have a modular cooling system for your drag car with iceboxs, chilled water tanks, or anything other fluids you service between rounds that changes in seconds with no mess!

There really isn't many places you cannot find a use for these, while not encouraged, you could even swap a fuel rail on a dual rail feed car with the fuel system under pressure feeding one rail and not spill a drop. They are truely amazing fittings, even if you don't need them in a valved application, they are still amazing for just regular use as you can hook and unhook them with one hand. No more AN line wrenches, screwdrivers, etc... set it up once and it just clicks and unclicks with one hand. No muss, no fuss, no destroyed or marred up fittings.

These fittings come in straights, 45 degree, and 90 degree setups. They service all the way up to 12AN and 3/4" (so yes, support for NPT is there). All series are offered in valved and non-valved configuration. Specific seals are in the fittings depending on the application, you should consult with a PowerFab Automotive staff member prior to purchase to ensure you get the right seals for your given application.

They come in all black or black/gold as shown here. We currently have a variety of series and angles in stock, so feel free to come by and check them out today!
